2025 Vitality Netball Nations Cup

The Vitality Netball Nations Cup is a tournament hosted and organized by the England Netball team and teams to participate are on an invitational basis.

International Netball will start the year 2025 with the Vitality Nations Cup 2025, which will take place on the first and second of February at Nottingham Motorpoint Arena and the eighth and ninth at Copper Box Arena in London. The Vitality Netball Nations Cup is a tournament hosted and organized by the England Netball team and teams to participate are on an invitational basis. 

Teams Invited Tournament 

The host country, the Vitality Roses, will compete with some of the best-ranked netball teams globally. The Vitality Roses are currently ranked in fourth place. They will be faced with the national teams from Uganda (ranked 6th), South Africa (ranked 5th), and Malawi (ranked 7th). According to the Roses head coach, Jess Thirlby, the team focuses on kickstarting the year with a heated competition against the top three ranked African countries. The Vitality Roses announced their squad, which consisted of a mixture of new and old players.

This will be an opportunity to build some of their youngest players competing against the best teams from Africa.

Vitality Nations Cup 2024

The 2024 tournament took place at OVO Arena Wembley in London and First Direct Arena in Leeds. England hosted Australia, New Zealand and Uganda for two consecutive weekends. Australia won this edition, facing England in the final with a 20-point lead, 69-49. Australia, which is ranked first in the Netball World Rankings, won all its games in the competition. New Zealand finished in third place and Uganda in fourth place.

Third-place play-off (1:30 pm)

Final (4:00 pm)

All games will be aired on Sky Sports UK/Ireland.
