Title 9 Sports Grill, Phoenix’s first women-focused sports bar, will open in January 2025 in the Melrose District. A Visionary Partnership Built on Passion
Co-owners Audrey Corley and Kat Moore bring expertise and enthusiasm to this groundbreaking concept. Corley, founder of Boycott Bar and a former basketball coach, and Moore, co-founder of Short Leash Hotdogs + Taproom and an avid soccer player, combine their entrepreneurial experience and love of sports to deliver a venue that redefines the sports bar experience. Both women saw a gap in sports culture where women’s athletics often took a backseat and sought to create a space where female athletes are supported and celebrated.
Elevated Dining and Inspired Design
Title 9 Sports Grill features wall-to-wall coverage of women’s sporting events across multiple screens, making it a hub for fans and families. The menu offers elevated versions of classic bar fare, including signature wings, sliders, and fresh salads, along with vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan options. Dishes are named after iconic female athletes, while the beverage menu highlights beers, ciders and spirits from female-owned breweries and distilleries. Guests can also enjoy the “Trophy Room,” which pays tribute to trailblazing athletes with donated trophies, interactive games, and striking artwork honoring Phoenix Mercury stars and Arizona icons.
