Brooke Klosowicz took a step forward during her 2024-25 campaign, proving to be a consistent contributor for Penn State softball in her second season with the team. After a quieter freshman year, Klosowicz delivered a series of standout performances that highlighted her increasing confidence and versatility as an infielder.

She recorded a career-high three hits in a dominant game against Rutgers on April 5, scoring four runs in the same matchup, both personal bests for the season. Her ability to make consistent contact at the plate and capitalize on scoring opportunities became increasingly evident as the season progressed.

Klosowicz demonstrated her power earlier in the spring, launching two home runs against Canisius on March 7 and adding a triple to her stat sheet against Villanova on March 2. She also drove in four runs in a single game against Robert Morris on February 28, underscoring her ability to deliver in clutch moments.

Beyond her offensive growth, Klosowicz provided solid defense, recording a season-high three assists in a matchup against Minnesota and three putouts versus Mississippi State. She also added a stolen base against Iowa, demonstrating her ability to make an impact on the basepaths when given the opportunity.

Compared to her 2023-24 season, during which she played 33 games, logged 11 hits, and posted two doubles, this year’s highlights reflect a player who is settling into her role and building momentum. With her improved production at the plate and increasing defensive reliability, Klosowicz has established herself as a dependable asset in Penn State’s lineup moving forward.
