League One Volleyball (LOVB) will kick off its inaugural season on Jan. 8, 2025. The league aims to elevate women’s volleyball in the U.S. with a star-studded roster and nationwide coverage. 

Season Details

Six teams will compete in a 14-week schedule. The season opener takes place in Atlanta, Georgia. Games will be held in various U.S. cities, including Madison, Wisconsin, Houston, Texas; Salt Lake City, Utah, Austin, Texas and Omaha, Nebraska. These venues ensure accessibility for fans nationwide.

Key Players

LOVB has attracted some of the best volleyball talent. Jordan Larson, an Olympic gold medalist from the 2021 Tokyo Games, will play a key role in her team’s leadership and offense. Kim Hill, another Team USA standout, brings her versatility as an outside hitter and experienced international competitor. Sarah Wilhite Parsons, known for her offensive and defensive skills, will further strengthen her team’s depth.

TeTori Dixon, a middle blocker with extensive experience on Team USA, adds power and presence at the net. International stars such as Italy’s Monica De Gennaro, a top libero, will also feature prominently in the league. Her quick reflexes and defensive capabilities will make her a vital asset for her team.
