The Las Vegas Aces roster is set for the 2025 season, filled with leadership and sprinkled with a few young players—a perfect combination for a team eager to return to the WNBA Finals. The Aces missed the Finals last season, and this upcoming season looks like a sweet revenge opportunity. The final roster consists of:
- Jackie Young
- Kierstan Bell
- Tiffany Mitchell
- *Crystal Bradford (Out league suspension for opening game)
- Dana Evans
- Chelsea Gray
- Aaliyah Nye
- Megan Gustafson
- A’ja Wilson
- Jewell Loyd
- Cheyenne Parker-Tyus
- Elizabeth Kitley
- Kiah Stokes
The Aces currently have 13 players on the roster because Parker-Tyus is pregnant and Gustafson is injured for the season. This situation has opened one or two spots. Only six players from the championship run have returned, while the rest are newcomers. Three standout veterans are Mitchell, Evans, and Loyd, two of whom have championship experience and exhibit guard dominance.
Bradford, who hasn’t been given many opportunities in the WNBA, is equally important as the rest of the roster. Bradford flourished in Atlanta back when she was with the Dream in 2021. Her best years were with the Dream, where she was their key player. She dominated in Athletes Unlimited Season Four, which is most likely one of the reasons she was given an opportunity with the Aces.
Las Vegas Aces Rookies
Guard-forward rookie Aaliyah Nye from Alabama impressed everyone during the preseason and showcased her shooting skills. She scored 17 points off the bench, making five of eight three-pointers and six of eleven field goals. Those are impressive numbers for a rookie who isn’t afraid of the limelight.
Returning Core
We cannot forget the returning championship core of Young, Wilson, Gray, and Stokes—a group of individuals who shine individually and as a strong team. They have been playing together for a few years now and could lead this team to another championship run. The Aces have a good chance of winning another championship ring, depending on how well they mesh with the newcomers.
The Aces’ opening game is Saturday, May 17, at 1 p.m. ET against the defending champions, the New York Liberty.
