Rose 58 – 53 Laces

The Laces sat in second place for the entirety of the Unrivaled season before the in-season 1v1 tournament, while the Roses struggled to stay afloat in fourth place out of six teams. The Laces have dipped further with every game played and will likely miss out on the playoffs as they sit in fifth position. Only four teams can make it to the next stage post-regular season. The Laces are currently on a four-losing streak after losing to the Lunar Owls, Mist, Vinyl, and the latest game with a 5-point loss to the Rose.

Chelsea Gray

Chelsea Gray has been fundamental for the Roses as she has risen to fourth place on the leaderboard in points for the team, averaging 21.3 points per game. She also leads the Unrivaled League in assists at 5.6 assists per game. Chelsea led the Rose to victory over the Laces with 26 points and seven assists. Angel Reese has also been a great piece to the Roses’ success, as she currently leads the league in rebounds with 12.3 per game. In the game against the Laces, she registered 17 rebounds and 15 defensive rebounds.

Jackie Young

Jackie Young, who frequently adds over 10 points per game to the Laces’ scoreboard, managed only four points in this game. This created a scoring gap for the team. Kayla McBride contributed 20 points, while Alyssa Thomas grabbed 16 rebounds for the Laces.

 Lunar Owls 92 – 79 Phantom

The Phantom are currently one game away from being eliminated from playoff contention. It’s been a tough inaugural season for the team, which has only three wins out of the 12 games played. The Lunar Owls have already clinched a playoff spot. They are seeded No. 1 following their excellent performance of 11 wins out of 12 games so far, giving no chance of hope to the Phantom. The Phantom led in the first quarter and part of the second quarter in close range of their biggest lead of seven points.

The Lunar Owls turned the game around and took the lead in the second quarter to build on it. By the end of the third quarter, the Phantom had been down by 19 points and failed to recover.
