In a thrilling match at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Team USA Women’s Basketball emerged victorious against Japan, securing a significant win. The American team demonstrated their dominance with a combination of strong defense, precise shooting, and effective teamwork.

Game one was a rematch of the gold medal game from the previous Summer Games after the U.S. came out on top to win the gold medal.

Team USA is going for its eighth straight gold medal, having won the gold medal at every Olympics since 1996. Diana Taurasi, Brittney Griner, Breanna Stewart, A’ja Wilson and Sabrina Ionescu are among the WNBA stars on the team.

Despite a slow start, the U.S. team widened the gap and secured a 102-76 victory. A’ja Wilson led the charge with 24 points and 13 rebounds, while Breanna Stewart contributed 22 points and eight rebounds.
