Unrivaled 1-on-1 Tournament Set to Go

The brackets were unveiled on February 5, after the fans were left to vote for the player seeding from January 30 through February 2. The tournament starts next week.

The Unrivaled 1-on-1 tournament is set to happen on the 10, 11, and 14 of February. The tournament is the first at the professional women’s basketball level. It has gained publicity with so much anticipation from fans following the revelation of the player brackets.

The brackets were unveiled on February 5, after the fans were left to vote for the player seeding from January 30 through February 2. The brackets are as follows:

The top-seeded players in Pods A and D earned first-round byes.

How Will the Game be Played?

The 1-on-1 Unrivaled basketball tournament features 30 players who play in the league. First-round games will be played on February 10, a single elimination. On February 11, second-round games will take place in another single-elimination matchup. The semifinals and finals will be played on February 14. The winning score for the entire tournament will be 11 points with only the finals having the best-of-three series. Each player will have a 7-minute shot clock for each possession and it is a make-it, take-it affair. 

Awarding

The tournament has $350k up for grabs, the winner will take $200k and each teammate of the winning team will take $10k. The semifinalists will each take $25k for each player who did not make it to the finals.
