Unrivaled Basketball has exciting news and new partnerships weekly. The league announced a plethora of media personalities today. Unrivaled, partnering with TNT Sports garnered WNBA legends to cover the inaugural season. The roster is based on basketball analysts, reporters and media personalities. The TNT studio coverage will anchor with WNBA legend, three-time WNBA champion, and two-time league MVP Candace Parker, WNBA All-Star and co-owner of the Atlanta Dream Renee Montgomery, and host Lauren Jbara. Four-time Olympic gold medalist and legend Lisa Leslie will make appearances.
The women-based analysts will share pregame and postgame insights, highlights, and analysis from the TNT studios in Atlanta, GA, throughout the season.
The media talent does not stop there; the Unrivaled x TNT partnership also announced the play-by-play team. Brendan Glasheen, play-by-play announcer, and analysts Leslie and Sarah Kustok will provide game commentary throughout the season. They will be joined by a rotation of veteran reporters who have previously covered women’s basketball: Taylor Rooks, Allie LaForce, Stephanie Ready and Ros Gold-Onwude. The Live game coverage will be from Unrivaled’s facilities in Miami.

Unrivaled’s Commissioner shared her excitement about the new media talent addition:
“We’re thrilled to tip off our inaugural season with such legendary talent across all levels of the women’s basketball space,” said Micky Lawler, Unrivaled’s Commissioner. “Their voices will bring much-needed analysis and perspective to the revolutionary version of basketball Unrivaled and TNT are bringing to fans this year.”
WNBA Champions and Legends
Bringing in legends of the game will be more exciting for the league and the fans. These ladies’ talent on and off the court is incredible. Unrivaled Basketball is doing the right thing by bringing in talent from all over the world.
The seven-time All-Star Parker, 2020 Defensive Player of the Year, who last played with the Las Vegas Aces, only played 18 games due to her foot injury. Parker played amazingly with the Aces in 2023 before her injury and, unfortunately, could not contribute to the court during the championship run with the Aces. However, she was a vital piece of the puzzle as a veteran voice to the players. The Aces won back-to-back championships in 2023. The accolades are endless for Parker on and off the court. Having Parker as an analyst and her name attached to Unrivaled will bring more attention to the 3×3 league.
The buck does not stop there, with WNBA legends like Renee Montgomery, a two-time champion, UConn legend, All-Star, and 2009 Rookie of the Year, who last played with the Atlanta Dream in 2020 and now co-owns the team. Lastly, the legendary Lisa Leslie, a two-time champion, eight-time All-Star, three-time league MVP, two-time Finals MVP, and four-time All-Defensive Team member, has experience coaching and serving as an analyst. All three legends have valuable experience and knowledge of the game.
