When was the last time we sat down to watch a good one-on-one tournament, especially for most people who are not in practice gyms?
After a month of thrilling basketball, Unrivaled Basketball is taking it a notch higher to a 1-on-1 tournament where the winners are set to walk away with a considerable cash award. The games will take place on the 10th and 11th for the first and second rounds. The finals will be played on February 14. Every stage throughout the three-day tournament will be single elimination and only the finals will have a best-of-three series.
Rules
The tournament will remind you of playing on running clock time. The clock will not stop at any point throughout the game, and the winner will aim for 11 points. However, each possession will be on a 7-second time clock.
Unrivaled League
The Unrivaled League officially had its first game played in January 2025. The league, founded by two WNBA stars, Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, delivered mainly on what it promised, offering WNBA players an off-season league to compete in with a good financial return and keeping women basketball fans entertained. The six-team league is ongoing, and the Laces are the table heads, who have registered a 4-0 record. Catch more action on the League on TruTv, TNT, Max, TSN+ Canada and YouTube for international fans.
