Latest Honor
Being named this week’s SEC Co-Player of the Week is another honor Arianna continues to collect. “Arianna has been a force at the plate and a rock for us defensively,” said South Carolina head coach Ashley Chastain Woodward, “She brings intensity and leadership every game, and it’s exciting to see her hard work recognized on a national level.”
This latest honor adds to what has already been a standout season for Rodi, who continues to be a key piece of South Carolina’s success. Her ability to deliver in clutch moments has made her a cornerstone of the Gamecocks’ offense, and she shows no signs of slowing down.
Next Up for South Carolina
South Carolina will travel to Norman, Oklahoma, this weekend for a meeting with the only other undefeated team in major college softball. The first-time defending national championship-winning Oklahoma Sooners have lost just 15 games during their dynastic run. Coach Ashley Chastain Woodard and company will look to continue their magical run and prove to the country that they belong in the conversation as one of the nation’s top teams.
