Karlie Samuelson’s Performance This Season
The 30-year-old guard Karlie Samuelson joined the Minnesota Lynx in a trade, where she was acquired from the Washington Mystics in April of this year in exchange for a first-round pick in the 2026 WNBA draft. During the game against the Connecticut Sun, she left the court in a wheelchair and did not return to the game.
This season, she was averaging 3.3 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 14.3 minutes played.
Minnesota Lynx Continues to Dominate
Despite losing the Commissioner’s Cup to the Indiana Fever, the Lynx returned to business to win against the Washington Mystics (92-75). Napheesa Collier scored 28 points, while Alanna Smith, Kayla McBride, and Courtney Williams each scored 10 points.
The Lynx played against the Golden State Valkyries on Saturday to secure their 16th win in 18 games played. Napheesa scored 22 points, and Kayla and Courtney scored 27 points combined.
And on Sunday, the Lynx still showed up strong, despite the rapid pace of the game after game, as they had to win over the Chicago Sky with a five-point lead (80-75). Courtney blew away to score 25 points and pick up eight rebounds, while Napheesa scored 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
