Kansas City Current vs. San Diego Wave

The Kansas City Current maintained their dominant form with a 2–0 victory over the San Diego Wave. Brazilian international Debinha opened the scoring in the 18th minute, celebrating a major milestone with her 50th career NWSL goal. Moments later, a handball in the box by San Diego’s Kristen McNabb gave KC a penalty, nicely converted by Lo’eau LaBonta, who placed it perfectly into the top right corner.

San Diego showed little threat in the first half, but turned up the heat after the break. Despite four shots on target, they could not find a way past goalkeeper Lorena da Silva Leite, who put on an impressive display to secure the clean sheet.

Orlando Pride vs. Seattle Reign

The Orlando Pride continued their perfect run with a narrow but crucial win over the Seattle Reign FC. Barbra Banda scored the game’s only goal just before halftime, marking her return to the scoreboard and continuing her strong start to the season.

Despite facing heavy pressure from Seattle in the second half, the Pride held firm. Orlando enjoyed more possession but struggled to create chances, while Seattle, though aggressive on the counter, failed to convert. For Reign FC, it was a tough loss that keeps them in seventh place as they search for form.
